Dublin Accommodation
O'Neill's Victorian Pub & Townhouse is located in the heart of Dublin. Above this Victorian pub are eight bedrooms with bathrooms and free WiFi. The exterior features flowers during the summer. The pub's dark wood interior remains from the Victorian era. O'Neill's bar is closed on Sunday and Monday, and we do not do breakfast.
Dining Experience
O'Neills Victorian Bar offers traditional Irish dishes and pub food. A selection of Irish beers, whiskeys, and wines are served, including O'Neill's Red, a special brew red ale. The bar has over 50 Irish whiskeys. Chef Troy Maguire has launched a new menu featuring dishes made with local suppliers such as Glenmar Shellfish, Keelings, Jack McCarthy, and McLoughlin's Craft Butchers. Authentic Irish food is served Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 -21:00.
Leisure and Music
Guests have access to The Trinity Sports Centre, a minute's walk from the Townhouse, with a gym, a 25-meter swimming pool, steam room, sauna, climbing wall, and tennis courts. Traditional Irish music sessions are held every Wednesday and Saturday from 8pm. Guests can partake in whiskey tastings.
Location and Transport
O'Neills Townhouse (Estb. 1885) is opposite Trinity College and a short walk from Dublin's shopping streets, art galleries, and theatres. The Convention Centre Dublin is a 5-minute walk. Dublin Castle, St Stephen's Green, museums, and galleries are nearby. Tara Street is 300 metres away. Dublin is 5 km away. Pearse Station is nearby for train transport. The 757 Airlink Express bus to Pearse Station stops opposite the property with service to Dublin Airport.
Onsite Services
O'Neill's offers a dining room for guests to make tea or coffee. Ironing facilities are available upon request. The entire property is a smoke-free zone. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals and late departures. Check-in is from 2 pm until 10 pm Wednesday to Sunday in O'Neill's Bar. Discounted parking is available at Park Rite Fleet St, 700 metres away.
“From what I've gathered, this spot is a Dublin institution, established back in 1885, near Trinity College and Grafton Street. I think the Victorian bar's charm is a real draw, as are the live music sessions and the impressive whiskey selection; it's a place where you can enjoy both history and a lively atmosphere.”
