Rooms

The Europa Gatwick Hotel features 211 traditionally styled bedrooms. Each room includes a TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a private bathroom. Room options include double, triple, and family rooms. Some rooms have a double 3/4 size bed. Family rooms offer configurations such as 1 double and 1 single bed, 3 single beds, 2 double beds, 1 double and 2 single beds, or 2 single beds with bunk beds and a pull-out bed. Upgraded rooms have more space, a separate living room, and an en-suite bathroom.

Dining Options

The hotel has an on-site Mediterranean restaurant and bar. The Mediterranean Restaurant is located on the mezzanine floor and features a high timber ceiling and picture windows overlooking the courtyard and fountain. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 9:30am, featuring a buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, fruit, and cereal. Dinner is served from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, featuring a daily carvery buffet with meats, gravy, potatoes, and vegetables. Rafters Bar, located in the main lounge area, serves a wide selection of drinks and a modern snack menu, open 4pm - 11pm Daily with Bar Meals available between 5:00pm - 10:00pm.

Spindles Health and Leisure Club includes an indoor heated swimming pool with a timber roof, a sauna, and a fully equipped gymnasium. Access to the Health and Leisure club is £4.00 per session for adults and £2.00 for children. Children's hours are daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm (last entry 5:30pm).

Ants were present in my initial room so I had to move. The replacement room was situated between visiting students who persistently knocked then fled.

I booked a room quickly before arrival because travel plans shifted. The staff accommodated me. it was thoughtful. i had tea and coffee readily available in my room. the team members were approachable. free parking made me breathe easily after a long drive.
The check-in felt impersonal. I had to wait in a long queue. the bar only opened in the late afternoon. it felt rather isolating as i had hoped to relax earlier after my journey.
