i found the building very beautiful, exceeding the photos especially the rooftop. the courtyard was also great. the staff were friendly, helping with all my needs. it's reassuring to have people so dedicated to making your stay better.

The location was central. I found it easy to walk to many attractions. victoria greeted me upon arrival, she was very helpful. i also appreciated that i could store my luggage after checkout, which allowed me more time to explore.

The soundproofing wasn't good. I could hear a lot of noise from the street and the hallway, it bothered me.

The building is very beautiful. The rooms and shower rooms were clean. the staff were kind, helpful and always available! i found the location to be very convenient for accessing various attractions in the area. it was a plus to have friendly staff.

the absence of sufficient soundproofing meant i could often hear noises from the corridor which was a bit disturbing during the night.

The staff was helpful and lovely! My room had a powerful shower. I loved it! The beds were clean and comfy. They provided a kettle and tea bags at my request.

The sound insulation wasn't great. I could hear noise from the street.

Authentic stay in historical setting

responsive management safe entrance central location

I appreciated the responsive hotel management and kind staff. The location is one block from eating and shopping (so practical!). The quiet, safe entrance was a plus, and i enjoyed my two-night stay this time.

The air conditioning was not working . The small, cell-like room with little ventilation was uncomfortable. The weather was over 30 degrees Celsius, worse.

useful fan convenient drop-off helpful outlets

i found the air conditioner plus a fan very useful especially with the heat. baggage drop-off was available too. i noted three outlets located near the bed which was helpful for charging devices.
