The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection By Hilton, originally built as part of Edinburgh's central railway station, combines Victorian style with modern features. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with toiletries, and bathrobes. Rooms feature views of Edinburgh Castle. Suites include a separate living area, high ceilings, a Waldorf Astoria bed with a Serta mattress, and Egyptian cotton sheets. Rooms provide air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, and a safe deposit box. Connecting and non-smoking rooms are available.
Dining and Drinks
Guests can dine in two restaurants by Michelin-starred Galvin brothers: The Pompadour by Galvin and Galvin Brasserie de Luxe. Dean Banks at The Pompadour offers a 7-course tasting menu featuring Scottish ingredients. Grazing by Mark Greenaway, located on the ground floor with access from Peacock Alley and Rutland Street, presents shareable dishes. Peacock Alley offers afternoon tea. The Caley Bar, located where Edinburgh's Old Town, New Town, and West End meet, provides bar food, drinks, and whisky tastings.
