Romantic getaway near Dean Village

train stationsurprise upgradewifi access
The location was convenient, close to Haymarket Train Station. I found the bus links to be very accessible. The proximity to Dean Village made it easy to explore a charming area (it seemed like a fairy tale!). The staff were lovely and accommodating, especially Fatima, who arranged a surprise upgrade for us.
I found that the wifi access required an extra fee for in-room usage. This detail was inconvenient. I think free access to the internet is essential nowadays for travelers.
Rooms
9/10
The room was large and quiet. I appreciated the comfort of the bed. There was a hairdryer and iron, also plentiful storage. These facilities added convenience to my stay.
Facilities
8/10
Onsite parking was available for a daily fee. This made arrival and departure easy. Free wifi was accessible in public areas. The hotel provided tea and coffee facilities in the room, including shortbread biscuits (how sweet!).
Service
10/10
The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Casey was super helpful with directions. I was able to check in early. The night shift receptionist was generous with biscuits and other treats.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast provided a selection of choices. It's advisable to arrive early for the full range of options. The restaurant opened early for a coach party heading to the theatre.
