uneven experience, some issues noted
the location was convenient to the train station.
Someone entered my room early in the morning, claiming they were training a new staff member and had made a mistake. i felt unsafe afterwards and checked out early.

a mixed bag of experiences
poor soundproofing constant road noise
the room was spacious and clean i have to say.
upon arrival, building work was in full swing. soundproofing was definitely a problem, i could hear everything. road noise was constant, and conversations from other rooms were crystal clear. a dog barking nearby added to the noise issue.

Underwhelming stay. Some issues
extractor fan disgusting mold
I was really hoping for better, given the hype. the so-called "quiet room" i requested ended up right next to the kitchen extractor fan. It was quite loud. the shower room had a loose tile and disgusting mold. I skipped showering entirely. also, someone had cut the tissues in half and put them back in the box. Now that's just annoying.

helpful staff nearby bar
The room was EXCELLENT. They looked after my case on my departure day and were helpful when required. It's only a 5 min walk from the rail station and a nice bar and restaurant is nearby.

the room was impeccably clean, with fresh linens and a super clean bathroom. i found the tea and coffee facilities particularly convenient (and the little extras, like biscuits, were lovely). the location was excellent, close to the train station and city center. the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with directions and local recommendations.
the street parking was sometimes tricky to find, requiring a bit of patience.

decent accommodation experience
family room spacious comfortable beds staff kindness rude host nonfunctional wifi slippery shower
our family room provided ample space and a pleasing aesthetic. the beds were very comfortable to lay on. the staff showed kindness, they offered assistance carrying our luggage.
upon arrival, the host was rude. wifi did not function. the shower experienced fluctuations, transitioning from hot to cold. its floor was slippery, without a mat. i feel this presented a safety concern.

The staff were helpful. They readily accommodated my requests with a smile. My room included a television with streaming services and fast WiFi. The location is also quite convenient. It is a short walk to the train station.
I noticed a slight draft near the bathroom window.
