unfriendly staff dirty room
the hotel generally looks nice. the location is good. however, the room i got was not very clean. the termostat didn't work properly and the room was freezing. the staff was terrible, none of them smiled, they acted like we was bothering them at breakfast and reception. i won't recommend this hotel.

Acceptable stay with a couple of issues
loose toilet seat slamming door
The location was good, it was close to the Aldgate East station.
The room i booked was not a Beautiful room, though i had paid for it. The mirror in the bathroom didn't light up, and the toilet seat felt loose. it seemed like you had to go through another door to access the room. I could hear it slamming shut every time someone from the room next to mine entered or exited.

convenient location adequate room clean premises difficult service complicated system inconvenient menu
the location was convenient (just a short walk to the tube station). the room was adequately sized for one or two people. i also appreciated the cleanliness of the premises.
ordering room service was surprisingly difficult. the online system had complications i did not expect. also, i found no printed menu in the room and that was quite inconvenient (especially since i was tired).

spacious room good shower kind staff
the beautiful double room was spacious and the style impressed me. it had a good shower. changing rooms was easy as the staff were kind. i also noticed the hotel provides good toiletries.
i found the elevators to be somewhat slow at peak times.

the hotel gym features three treadmills. i saw two stationary bikes there. it has a selection of free weights .
