The Old Clare By Ode Hotels offers 62 rooms with custom-made lamps by The Rag and Bone Man and bespoke pendant lighting. Select rooms feature VW Beetle headlights illuminating the lift recess and restored mid-century armchairs from Unlisted Collection founder Loh Lik Peng's personal collection. Each Connell room has 3-meter high ceilings, vintage designer furniture, lamps, and modern bathrooms with dual vanities. Room features include ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a sitting area, a terrace, a trouser press, a dining table, soundproofed rooms, garden furniture, a sink, free toiletries, an electric kettle, an AM/FM alarm clock, a flat-screen TV, carpeted floor and parquet floor. Suites, located in the converted pub area, have hardwood floors, separate living areas, dining tables for eight, and deep soaking bathtubs. Suites in the former Carlton & United Breweries boardroom feature original timber paneling, parquetry floors, cornices, and restored executive washrooms, plus separate sleeping quarters, meeting, living, and dining spaces.

The location is convenient. It is near central station. The bed was comfortable. I also liked the bar downstairs it had a nice vibe.

I found the location very convenient. The room was spacious and quiet! I really liked the decor and the high ceilings.

The check in process felt impersonal. The staff member didn't provide much information! I wasn't told about available amenities. The TV was also very poor quality and difficult to use.
