i really liked the super comfortable bed. i really appreciated the early check-in. the retro radio played classical music when we walked into the room. it was a nice touch. i would come again and can recommend it.

the room was very warm and the aircon was poor. i think it is massively over priced and not good value for the standard of the hotel.

the breakfast room is lovely and well stocked. they offer excellent breakfasts. the hotel is only a five minute walk to the town center with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

the room was a good size and included a walk-in shower. it felt very homely and comfortable. it was immaculately furnished, and superbly lit with open fires and reading nooks. the bed was very large.

the hotel has onsite parking. it is a beautiful victorian villa and has been renovated very sympathetically. the garden was lovely, even on a windy wet weekend. the location is good with walkable access to local shops.
