The lack of on-site staff was quite annoying. I prefer having someone available for assistance. Breakfast felt cheap. Pre-packaged pastries and basic cereal are not what I expect. Finding parking was a nightmare. I had to use a distant car park.

I had a double room on the first floor. the hotel sits at the top of a hill. i found the complimentary continental breakfast offered a good selection each morning, i really enjoyed the pastries. mo, the owner, was a fantastic host. He were really nice too accommodate my needs. he even left a nice box of chocolates upon my arrival.

Parking was somewhat limited. I had to pay extra to park in a nearby car park. i wish the guesthouse compensated for this cost, at least partially.

The hotel is located very close to the city center and the beach. This made it convenient for exploring. the hotel is near many shops. it is also a short walk from the train station.

a simple stay near the beach

i stayed in the double room room 4 for two nights. the self check-in was simple and straightforward. the bed was very comfortable, just what i needed after a long day, and i appreciated the cleanliness of the room. i also found the self-service breakfast quite adequate for my needs.

parking was a real problem. i ended up using a public car park a bit away, and the charges added up. the guesthouse could maybe offer some kind of partial compensation, or at least some dedicated spots.
