an underwhelming stay

messy car park missing brew kit
the car park was a mess. it resembled a builders yard more than a place to park. also, my room lacked a brew kit despite the hotel advertising one. it was disappointing to find that amenity missing. these issues detracted from the overall experience.

Charming Stay!

helpful staff adequate breakfast clean room convenient location
The staff was helpful, especially with directions to local attractions. I found the breakfast selection quite adequate, it offered a good start to my mornings. The room was clean and well-kept. I had no issues with cleanliness. The location was convenient, being close to local transport and shops.
The parking area was a bit tight, maneuvering could be challenging at times.
Rooms
8/10
My double room included a comfortable bed and basic amenities. The room had a television with cable channels and a small desk. it was a clean and functional space for a short stay.
Location
9/10
The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants. Public transport links are close, it made it simple to explore the wider area. The beach is a short walk AWAY!!!

the room felt a little neglected. there were marks on the walls , and some of the furniture was quite worn. the bathroom grout needed attention , and i noticed a slight musty smell. the shower pressure was also quite weak , , made it difficult to have a good wash.

stained bedding musty smell
Breakfast was good. It provided a decent start to the day.
The room was not well kept. Stains covered the bedding and nets, while the door was to be falling apart (i really wasn't happy about this). The bathroom had similar issues, including stains on the floor and toilet seat. The musty smell throughout the place was also quite off-putting.

Satisfactory Stay

convenient location satisfactory breakfast hotel parking
The location was convenient for accessing nearby restaurants. I found the breakfast satisfactory and served punctually. The hotel offered parking for a daily fee of five pounds which was convenient for my travel.
There was no spoon available in the room to stir coffee which was a minor inconvenience. I had to use a different utensil. This small detail could be easily addressed .
Rooms

My room was clean and adequately warm, ensuring a reasonably comfortable environment. Bed linen and towels was fresh and clean. The new shower room featured updated fixtures.
Service

The staff members were friendly and offered assistance when needed. They quickly addressed my needs.
Dining

I found the breakfast to be of good quality and sufficient for my needs. The breakfast included several options. The staff ensured timely delivery each morning.
