The room included complimentary flapjack and port (a nice touch!). the breakfast buffet had a cook who prepared a full english breakfast. the hotel had a pub downstairs. It seemed a cute place for a solo traveler.

the shower had a very slippery tray, and it could pose a safety risk.

my stay had a couple of notable problems. the window in my room couldn't fully open. this made getting fresh air difficult. also, the bed reminded me of two single beds pushed together. this made it hard to sleep comfortably with my partner, as we kept sliding apart. it was frustrating! the staff was friendly! but the wi-fi was slow.

The room was modern and clean. breakfast was good (i especially enjoyed the pastries). the location is fantastic. It is very central. the team was helpful and genuine, always ready to assist.

the room felt a bit tired and could use an update. i noticed some mould in the shower, a bit off-putting.
