amazing experience!

glass doorking bedreal mugfresh smell
checking in was like stepping back in time, i collected my keys from the restaurant! the attic room, actually on the bottom floor, had a fully enclosed glass door for the shower with amazing pressure. a king bed, couch bed, two chairs, a table, and a patio overlooking the water were all included, it was awesome. i also really liked real mugs for tea and espresso!
the parking was labeled per room, however, there wasn't much space when people parked over the lines and took too much space. also, the room upon arrival didn't smell fresh, it needed some airing.
Rooms
9/10
the room had great amenities, including bathrobes and slippers. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep with high-quality linens and a perfect mattress.
Dining
10/10
the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries, local cheeses, and a selection of hot dishes. dinner in the restaurant was really good, with a menu showcasing local ingredients and expertly prepared dishes.

Really good Riverside Stay

broad selectionfresh ingredientsunclear parking
The hotel enjoys an advantageous position near the river, great for straightforward access to the heart of the town. The breakfast offered a broad selection of choices, all prepared with great attention. I found the staff consistently helpful and quick to respond to requests. The evening meal was also particularly nice. I found the ingredients notably fresh.
The provided information regarding parking was not sufficiently clear. I missed the designated hotel parking on arrival.
Location

Its location is perfect for exploring the town and the Exe River area is readily accessible. The hotel allows convenient travel to key attractions and local dining options.
Service

The team was very attentive, and every request was handled with efficiency and grace. Staff members showed a genuine interest in, immediately noticeable. Their dedication enhanced my overall experience.

the provided dab radio was a nice touch, i suppose.
Parking was supposedly per room, yet it was still a free-for-all. People just parked however they pleased and crammed everything. the room smelled stale upon arrival, a real nose-wrinkler. the bathroom? an olfactory nightmare. It reeked of old shoes and i had to keep the window open all night to bear it.

My room had a DAB radio, a nice touch. I found the room well-appointed with recent refurbishment. I appreciated the kindness from the gentleman who checked me in late. His professionalism helped after a long journey.
The car park got busy. It was separate for residents, but the main car park was crowded.

i stayed in a twin room with river views. it had seats in the window for relaxation. everything looked recently refurbished.
the parking was not clearly signed, so i went to the pub carpark initially. the room felt snug and lacked tissues or dressing gowns. breakfast was served all at once, so the hot food cooled while i ate the fruit course.
