the hotel was beautifully built, and the rooms were finished to a high specification. comfortable beds are a great feature. i found an excellent range of amenities within the room and a lovely attention to detail..
the rooms had very little space for hanging clothes. i was staying for several nights, and i felt really cramped. the staff seemed quite unqualified, and for a five star hotel, i expected better service.

the location was acceptable.
The room i booked, a 'superior' room, was shockingly small. there was practically no space for luggage and maneuvering around the room seemed like an obstacle course. i expected more for the price i paid. It was a very frustrating experience.

A Pleasant Stay, But Some Shortcomings

delicious dinnerfavorite foodsmall roomlimited spacefew hangers
My honeymoon began with a night here. Dinner and drinks at Jean Georges were the highlight. The tuna tartare and wild turbot were particular favorites.
The room I had was quite small. It was not possible to open my suitcase fully. The only place to do so was on the bed. There were only two hangers available so I had limited options for clothes.
