The location was SO CONVENIENT! It was an easy walk to shops, the train station, and the bus. There was ample off-street parking available which I appreciated. The proximity to my daughter's home made this location ideal.
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, I didn't sleep well. Pillows are a personal preference, but these pillows were not suitable for me. I just needed somewhere to rest for the night, but the bed prevented that.

the location proved convenient for gatwick access, a plus for early morning departures.
The room felt quite outdated, and the cleanliness left much to be desired (i noticed dust accumulation in corners and on surfaces). the bathroom fixtures showed signs of wear and tear, needing an upgrade. furthermore, the noise insulation was poor. I could hear conversations and other noises from adjacent rooms, disrupting my rest. i certainly expected more from a 4-star hotel, but perhaps that's just me.

The location is super convenient for gatwick. A quick bus ride got me there with no stress. the room was super clean and the bed was really comfortable, made for a great night's sleep before my early flight. i appreciated the thoughtful welcome emails preparing me for my arrival and the warm greeting upon arrival. the off-street parking was a real plus. I arrived late and still found a spot easily!!!
the stairs were a little steep, typical of an older building.

The location is convenient. It allowed for easy access to gatwick airport.. good parking on site was a definite plus. the room was meticulously clean. i also appreciated the provision of complimentary tea and coffee, readily available in the room.
i noticed the bathroom had limited shelving. this made organizing toiletries a little tricky, but was by no means a dealbreaker.

the family room private bathroom was perfect for what i needed. the location was good for restaurants, costa del sol does a great paella offer. the young lady who greeted us was most polite and explained everything we needed.
the room was really cold when we got in at 11 at night. it wasn't possible to heat it up as radiators wouldn't work. there was no hairdryer in the room. bringing the suitcases up to the second floor with stairs up and down on the way was difficult.
