Acceptable, with Issues

comfortable bedcigarette smokepoor communication
The bed was really comfortable. It included everything I needed. Thank you.
The stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke. The lower ground floor was even worse. A staff member did not understand English. He did not know what decaffeinated coffee is.

Acceptable but Flawed Stay

convenient locationinadequate water pressurebroken soap dispenser
The hotel's location was convenient for my needs.
The bathroom was disappointing. The hot water pressure at the sink was inadequate, and the soap dispenser was broken, so I had to remove the cap to get any soap out.

Excellent Stay, Super clean Rooms and Friendly Staff!

stocked trayworking tvreasonable value
I found a tray stocked with teas, coffees, and water bottles in the room. The bathroom was quite good and the TV worked GREAT. Yusuf was fantastic (always polite!). I was like this hotel offered reasonable value for money and is close to the motorway and train stations. I will make this my second home while travelling for work!
The hotel charges a parking fee, but it's surrounded by free public parking.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides parking for £5, and the availability of WiFi on all floors is convenient. I noticed the option of self check-in, particularly useful for late arrivals. These features definitely added to the convenience of my stay.
Dining
8/10
While the hotel functions purely as a lodge, offering no dining services, this was not a problem for me. A pub is nearby. I also noticed a mobile food stand offers additional options close to the hotel.
Location
9/10
The location is great as the hotel is situated in a residential area. A bus stop sits nearby with bus 1 providing a direct route to the station. Tilgate Park is within walking distance offering recreational space.
Rooms
10/10
The Beautiful Double Room was spacious and included tea and coffee facilities. I found the bed comfortable. Checking in and out was straightforward and efficient adding to the overall positive experience.

odd locationpoor soundproofing
The location of the hotel is not ideal. It is oddly situated in the middle of a residential area. the room could have used better soundproofing. There was quite a bit of noise (especially at night).

Convenient Stay Near Gatwick

smooth processclear instructiongreat value
I appreciated the self check-in option when I arrived late, it made the process smooth. The reception was unmanned initially, however, the staff responded quickly via phone and provided clear instructions. The room proved quiet and comfortable, a detail I greatly value .
The carpet showed some wear and could benefit from replacement, but it wasn't a major issue.

This hotel does not offer dining services on-site. this suited my needs for a quick overnight stay. Guests have access to coffee, tea, and water in the room, a convenient provision for a morning beverage.
