mixed experience , some issues
poor soundproofing old shower screen
the location was good , very central.
i was disappointed that the room wasn't properly soundproofed. i could hear music from the café downstairs starting early in the morning. also , the shower stall was small and the screen clearly needed replacing , it looked old and worn.

central location good breakfast welcome pastries street noise slow hot water slow lift
the location was really central , and i found it easy to walk to many attractions. the breakfast selection had good variety , including fresh fruit and pastries. i was charmed by the little touch of having pastel de natas in the room upon arrival.
the noise from the street was noticeable at night , even with the windows closed. i experienced a delay in the hot water reaching the shower , which was inconvenient. the lift was quite slow , and i sometimes waited longer than expected.

small room sewer smell
The room was smaller than expected. It was difficult to move around with luggage. The bathroom had a persistent sewer smell. We had to run the AC to get rid of the bad odor.

The hotel location allowed convenient access to main attractions. I liked the welcome treat of Pasteis de nata. The provided toiletries from Rituals added a nice touch. The staff was always helpful and willing to answer questions.
The lift could take a while sometimes, as there is only one.

The elevator provides access to upper floors. Air conditioning is available in all rooms. A restaurant and outdoor cafe are on site.. I noted an ATM directly across the street from the hotel entrance.

The staff provides assistance when needed. They were always happy to help. I received a warm welcome. Staff were friendly and uncomplicated, which i found a good trait.

The hotel is very close to stations. This allows easy access by metro, bus and tram. The hotel is a short walk from Baixa-Chaido metro station. It is also near Santa Justa lift and Arco da Rua Augusta arch.

The location was very central (close to everything). I found the staff helpful. The breakfast buffet offered good variety.
The shower pressure was low. the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. I wish it had worked more efficiently.
