Central Location with Comfortable Amenities
central location good breakfast
I found the location to be very central. The hotel was near shops, restaurants and transportation options. The room was clean and the beds were super. Breakfast had good choices of food.
The heating and cooling in the room did not work. It was hot and uncomfortable. I reported this twice, but it was not fixed. A fan was brought up only after the third complaint.

Breakfast service offered many different choices daily. The hot items were somewhat picked over by 9:30. The breakfast runs until 11 am. The food wasn't replenished often. I mostly chose the breads, pastries, fruits and granola.

The staff answered questions quickly and paid attention to details. The reception was friendly and helpful to me. I also found them patient with the regular stream of other guests needing assistance.

The room included a very comfy and tidy bed with a good ensuite. I found the room to be spacious with a large bathroom. The shower was good. A refrigerator was available in the room.

location is ok , but some issues
constant noise unmaintained gym
the location was central , offering easy access to attractions.
the noise from the street was relentless , going on until the early hours , it made sleeping quite difficult. furthermore , the gym was not well kept , with a dirty towel and a cup on the treadmill for days. these details detract from the overall experience.

brick wall cafeteria coffee
I booked a 'Superior Double Room Chiado View' and the view was mostly of a brick wall. The noise from the street performers continued late into the night. It wasn't exactly Mozart. More like someone torturing a cat. the breakfast area reminded me of a school cafeteria. The coffee tasted suspiciously like dishwater.

location was okay, but room HAD ISSUES
mold issues broken air condition
the hotel location was quite central, making it relatively easy to explore the city by foot or public transport.
the room I got wasn't great. first, the air condition didn't work, it was just blowing out hot air. second, the bathroom had some serious mold issues, it covered parts of the shower and walls. this.

a romantic getaway in the heart of everything
spacious room high ceilings superb location friendly service
My love and i had the most romantic stay! our superior double room was spacious. The high ceilings and large windows. the location was superb, a quiet escape at night, a vibrant adventure during the day. the reception staff always offered helpful and friendly service.
The sulphurous smell lingered slightly. It wasn't overwhelming, just a faint reminder in an otherwise perfect experience.

The restaurant nearby offered a delicious experience. The flavors were delicate and the ambiance was intimate, perfect for a romantic evening, right next door to the hotel.
