The Olissippo Lapa Palace has 109 rooms in three wings, blending 18th-century and 21st-century styles. Rooms feature a seating area, satellite TV, and a marble bathroom. Most rooms include balconies with Tagus River, garden, or city views. Some rooms offer a jacuzzi or plasma TV upon request. All rooms provide 24-hour room service, premium bedding, pillow menus, and laptop-friendly workspaces. Located in the original palace, rooms have hand-painted ceilings and Murano glass. The Tower Room features a balcony in the original palace turret. Palace Deluxe rooms are individually decorated, and some overlook the garden or city/river.
Dining Options
The Lapa Restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes, including crayfish carpaccio with capers and olive crust, taglioni with ham and smoked ham, farm-grown chicken ravioli, and tiramisu. Breakfast includes a buffet with local hams, pastries, fresh fruits, cheeses, and eggs to order. Le Pavilion offers light dishes for lunch, from catch of the day to salads, served in a poolside pavilion with outdoor seating. The Rio Tejo Bar has a tea menu with over 30 tea types and extends onto the terrace. The Rio Tejo is an opulent piano bar with a red and orange palette, period furniture, and thick carpet.
Leisure & Wellness
The hotel features a spa with an indoor pool, gym, steam bath, sauna, and treatment rooms using Elemis products. There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool. Romantic retreat, a palace of serenity.

Our stay reminded me of a dream. The staff surprised us with champagne. It sparkled on the terrace overlooking the river. Breakfast each day offered many delicious options. It felt luxurious and leisurely. Dinner at the hotel restaurant tasted perfect. I enjoyed its presentation.
The gym interiors looked a little tired. Our room had a slight damp smell. The bathroom fixtures were dated.

we adored our palace beautiful room! the staff were friendly. the grounds are fine and we really enjoyed having drinks on the terrace. the pool was so peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. the spa was AMAZING!!!
the location requires taxis to reach the city center.
