alfama area delight
beautiful bedroom decadent breakfast
the bedroom was beautiful with great light the bathroom felt luxurious i enjoyed the decadent breakfast the hotel provided i found the staff friendly they made my mornings cheerful bruno and leonardo at reception were very patient i received great advice on local spots.
i found that the gym lacked variety in weights it assumed only children use the gym weights available topped at 15kg it felt limiting for a comprehensive workout routine and i hope they consider adding heavier options.

the location is very convenient near alfama it is close to the cathedral comércio square and são jorge castle access to these landmarks is easy the area is very quiet at night which ensures peaceful sleep.

romantic getaway!
helpful staff smooth check-in
the hotel staff was helpful. soraia at the reception booked a lovely dinner reservation for my wife and me on our anniversary. bruno helped us check in smoothly even though we arrived early!!!
the ventilation fan in the bathroom did not work. i approached the front desk twice with no corrective actions or follow up. the mirror in the bathroom dripped water after a short shower.

the hotel has easy access to many destinations. restaurants are nearby and the metro is within reach, supporting local exploration. the surrounding area felt safe, inviting leisurely strolls both during the day and night.

clean room comfortable bed limited equipment bathroom humidity
the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. i found the location convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions..
the gym equipment was somewhat limited. the ventilation in the bathroom was not optimal, resulting in some humidity after showering.

sound proofing excellent beds easy breakfast unobliging staff poor follow-up appalling service
the rooms were bigger than i expected and very well sound proofed. excellent beds and i slept very well (no city noises!). breakfast was clean and easy to use. i even had dinner once at the hotel and it was enjoyable.
the reception staff were not obliging when i explained that items were missing. this happened weeks ago and there has been no follow up. i even spoke to the manager on duty and still nothing from management. appalling service overall.
