The front desk staff knew my name quickly. The front doormen took great care of me (I appreciated that). The laundry service was quick and well done.
The pool can get deep quickly. I would prefer a more gradual slope for easier access.

I enjoyed the prompt room service. My requests were fulfilled quickly. The complimentary newspaper each morning was a thoughtful touch. The concierge service was helpful with directions and recommendations. I REALLY appreciated the turndown service that included bottled water and chocolates.

the staff was attentive to all our needs. i loved the beautiful gardens, a perfect place to relax. the hotel arranged tours and car transfers for us and it was excellent.
the room was a little small, but it was still beautiful.

The hotel staff was helpful and good-natured. My room had great bed and linens. I experienced a mini crisis and the staff was very responsive. The grounds and garden are lovely.
My room faced a side street with bins. This took away from the atmosphere, especially since this stay was part of my birthday week. It was not the exact date, but it was still a special occasion for us.
