the location was great for seeing attractions. my room was clean and included everything i needed. the staff were pleasant and helpful .
the room had an old feel with dated carpets. the reception wasn't operating 24 hours a day. i found parking partnered with secure parking but other areas were recommended and more expensive.

The hotel's location was fantastic, very near the train station. I received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival (it was such a lovely surprise!). Everything was clean, and the spare pillows were useful.
The mattress was slightly too soft for my liking.

The staff happily brought slippers to my room when I asked about them on the phone. Check-in and check-out were quick. The staff was both friendly and helpful.

Central location, some notable drawbacks
musty odordated decor
Waiting times could be lengthy, ESPECIALLY during peak hours. I noticed a musty odor in the hallways. It was noticeable and detracted from the overall experience. The room's decor felt somewhat dated.

The location was excellent I could easily walk to the Queen Victoria Building and Town Hall train station. My room on the sixth floor was quiet I found sufficient space for luggage.
The facilities did not provide enough soap tea coffee milk and sugar I had to request more. There was also no refilling of these items
