Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Ibrox Argyll Inn enjoys a convenient location, particularly for those attending events at Bellahouston Park or the OVO Hydro, which are about a 20-minute walk away; the Ibrox subway station is also nearby. Many guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms and the availability of a self-serve breakfast in the accommodation kitchen, including vegan and gluten-free options. basic stay, issues present

suitable location handy subway small room thin towels

the location proved suitable for my needs. it was near the subway.

The room i booked did not match the pictures displayed. It was much smaller. the towels were thin, and the window faced an internal corridor. it lacked a blind, letting light in all night. this was quite annoying.

subway station easy access helpful advice clear instructions unlocked gate simple code wobbly shelf

the subway station was very close, with access into town. The host provided helpful advice regarding train and subway travel to my event. I received clear instructions on accessing the hotel, and the host confirmed i got into the room.

The front gate remained unlocked, and the front door was often unsecured. The key code seemed simple. Other reviews noted the same code for multiple rooms. I noticed marks on the walls and a small, wobbly shelf on one side of the bed.

Solid Stay Near Ibrox

ideal location comfortable bed effective shower

The location proved ideal. It's a short walk to the subway station (very convenient for city access). My room offered ample space and a comfortable bed, easily meeting my needs. The en-suite shower was effective, though the toilet seat felt a little loose.

I did notice a slight lack of soundproofing. Some noise from other guests was audible.

Dining

8/10

Breakfast was a self-service arrangement, yet provided a decent array of options. I noticed alternative milk in the fridge (a thoughtful touch) and some gluten-free cereal available .

Rooms

9/10

My room included an en-suite bathroom (quite convenient). There were also tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. The room was super clean and tidy. I found it well-kept.

Fantastic Spot Near Subway!

convenient location free parking prompt communication

I found the location very convenient. It is close to the subway , made getting around super easy. Free off-street parking existed right outside, a real bonus. Staff communication was prompt before check-in.

The outer gate and door had no operational lock. A note asked guests not to lock the door. This detail made me slightly uneasy.

Rooms

9/10

The room provided plenty of space. I also saw built-in USB chargers which was helpful. A decent kettle was also available.

Service

10/10

Breakfast is self-service in the accommodation kitchen. Alternative milk was available in the fridge and a vegan spread was also an option. I was impressed with choices of free-from cereal.

Facilities

8/10

The place sits in a quiet area. It. Off-street parking makes access easier.
