Chiado Arty Flats occupies a renovated building in Lisbon's historic center, between Bairro Alto and Chiado. The building was expanded in the middle of the 20th century to house the printing section of the República newspaper. The property features industrial-style decor from an award-winning architect, with pictures of Bairro Alto's graffiti on the walls.

stellar experience
perfect location luxurious breakfast ergonomic bathroom
the location worked perfect. I could walk to shops, restaurants, and sights. the breakfast that came delivered directly to the room felt luxurious. the bathroom included a great ergonomically correct layout. the kitchen had the right size.

the staff was always helpful. Paulo felt very attentive and simpatico. i appreciated returning after my daily outings. Paul always helped in EVERY way, which i am grateful.

poor noise isolation inconsistent breakfast
the location was acceptable , with easy access to nearby attractions.
I was quite disappointed with a few things. the noise isolation was poor. I could hear sounds from other rooms and the street , which was disruptive. also , the breakfast service was inconsistent. Some days it was adequate , other days it was not enough for the number of guests in my room. the small bathroom was another issue , it made it difficult to move around comfortably.

breakfast delivery room kitchenette food smell small kitchen
the breakfast was delivered right to the room (i thought that was a nice touch). the rooms were equipped with a small kitchenette.
there was a food smell coming from the restaurant downstairs. the kitchen area was also quite small.

small kitchen delivered breakfast
The hotel had a small kitchen area. It felt very cramped and not functional at all. the breakfast was delivered to the room, this I didn't love. I prefer to have breakfast in a dedicated dining area instead of the bedroom. It felt messy and disorganized.
