I imagine guests appreciate the central location near the Royal Mile and the individually styled rooms, despite some inconsistencies reported with room maintenance. It seems the locally sourced breakfast and friendly staff are consistent bright spots; balancing the allure of a historical building with some practical considerations feels like the crux of the experience here.”

B+B Edinburgh is a beautifully restored Victorian building with period features, including a stunning library and a cosy bar where lovely music can be heard. The hotel enjoys a convenient location, within walking distance of Haymarket train station and Princes Street, with some rooms even offering views of Edinburgh Castle or the charming Dean Village. Guests appreciate the good-sized rooms, although a few have noted that some bathrooms could benefit from more shelf space. Many consider it incredible value, especially with the excellent breakfast included.
