My room included a well-stocked mini-bar and a modern climate control system. The hotel gym featured three treadmills and two stationary bikes. I found it adequate for my needs. Check-in was very smooth. It took less than five minutes. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, specifically the fresh pastries.

claudia ribeiro and raquel paiva in the hotel events department were always friendly. they are ready and capable. bruno and the reception team were helpful. they made a lot of effort to ensure our event was perfect.

i found some of the senior male staff at the front desk were not as friendly as i had hoped, i did miss a genuine smile.

The hotel welcomed us warmly upon arrival, i noticed its clean foyer. i was happy with the modern amenities. breakfast was excellent. i appreciated the hotel's proximity to the city center. It made exploring easy.

the staff were friendly and spoke english.

the hotel has decor of the 90s , and it needs remodeling to brighten it up. the location requires a 20-25 minute walk to tourist areas of alfama and barrio alto , which was more than i anticipated. i hoped for a location closer to the main attractions.

the room felt somewhat dated the carpet showed noticeable stains i expected a fresher appearance given the hotel's reputation also the bathroom lacked an extraction fan this omission led to lingering humidity and a slight discomfort following showers basic amenities like dental kits were missing initially i had to request them which was inconvenient
