mixed feelings about the stay
central locationlimited spacechlorine taste
the location was central and convenient for exploring the area.
the room felt cramped. the wardrobe had limited space for long clothing. the water from the tap tasted strongly of chlorine, a problem i found concerning when brushing my teeth.

The location was acceptable. It was reasonably close to the main attractions.
The noise from the street was EXCESSIVE all night long. The windows did little to block the sounds, and I struggled to sleep. I asked the staff to do something, but they were unhelpful.

some issues during stay
temperamental air conditioninglimited room service
i have to say, the air conditioning seemed a bit temperamental. getting it to work consistently was a task. also, i found the room service menu somewhat limited. i expected a bit more variety, especially considering the hotel's reputation. it reminded me of a missed opportunity to really cater to guests staying in.

awesome locationcomfortable bedblackout window
The location was awesome with shopping and restaurants close by. the room was quiet and the bed felt really comfortable to sleep on. blackout window coverings were a plus. I really loved those.

this hotel has an excellent central yet quiet location i enjoyed the fact plaza del carmo is both historic and centrally located. the hotel makes it easy to walk to many tourist sights and areas. uber and taxi access is easy too

the staff was friendly and spoke very good english , made communication super easy for me. the girl in the restaurant makes really well made coffee. the reception staff were kind and professional during check in and out.
