the staff was friendly! they promptly put my bags in my room before i arrived. the shower was big. the location was excellent!
the mattress needed replacement. minor details show the hotel is in decline. dirty plug sockets and switches were apparent.
the staff displayed amazing attention to detail and were always ready to assist. the hotel's location proved ideal for exploring the city. i plan to return and strongly recommend this hotel.
i found that the breakfast offerings could incorporate greater variety. this would really elevate the morning dining experience. a wider array of choices might cater to diverse tastes.

adequate, but disappointing in some ways
sewage smell street noise
The room smelled strongly of sewage at times. Not very pleasant. i also found the noise from the street excessive. sleep was difficult because of it. the air conditioning seemed to struggle, never quite cooling the room sufficiently. i expected better for the price i paid.

central location friendly staff
The hotel offered a super central location. The staff proved very friendly. I enjoyed the great view from the room to Rossio Square. Staff assisted us with an early taxi and arranged takeaway breakfast boxes.
The room size was somewhat small. Limited storage space was available. Also the lighting was very bad. I suggest improvements.

I experienced some issues . The bathroom grout showed mold. This detracted from the overall cleanliness I expect. The lack of sufficient space for luggage made unpacking difficult. There was hardly space to move around.

small room poor ventilation
the location was great. i booked a room with a view, but the size was very small. there wasn't much space to even open my suitcases. the bathroom had some mildew, and the ventilation was poor. i found it a bit disappointing considering the price i paid.
