The room was spacious with high-spec decor. I particularly loved the illuminations and the mini fridge in the room (it was really useful). The rainfall shower provided lovely hot water.

The location was convenient for getting around the area.

The bathroom felt quite outdated, a stark contrast to the renovated room. The bath had a mat covering a white patch, perhaps hiding a crack, which I found a bit concerning. I would have liked breakfast to be served hotter, as it was lukewarm both mornings.

Craig and Julie are really good hosts. The rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic and made freshly to order.

The room was very hot. It had limited ventilation from two small windows. Behind the vertical blinds, the window ledges were very dusty. The bathroom comprised a very dated grey bath.

Decent Stay, Some Minor Issues

The parking situation was a definite plus. I found many spaces just outside the hotel and no permit was needed. The provided information pack in the room proved helpful. The room had comfortable pillows and bedding. The bathroom and shower were both very clean and modern.

The breakfast was only lukewarm during both mornings. I would have preferred not to have to order the day before. I noticed the light on the stairs did not come on immediately. I had to go halfway up to activate it.
