Continue past the Viking and Queens Hotel and McDonalds. Turn right at Yates Bar onto Alexandra Road. The New Yorker café is at the bottom of the road. The Hurstmere is the 3rd hotel on the right-hand side. a mixed stay, some issues to note
cold roompoor water pressure
the room was cold. the bathroom had freezing temperatures because there wasnt heating. the shower provided very poor water pressure, so it was hard to warm up. only one electric heater existed in the room, and it was not enough.

I found the location super close to south pier. andy helped us keep the bikes inside, that was great! breakfast rocked. It was included. the room? totally awesome, spacious, and super clean! i love the fact the owners are friendly.
the light in the bathroom didn't work, but the lamps did. it was a minor issue, but worth noting!

the owners were very cute and friendly. i appreciated that they accommodated every need. the breakfast was cooked perfectly (i enjoyed it!). my daughters had fun.

the location was just great! it was a short distance to south pier and pleasure beach. our room had a mini fridge, so handy. we also had lots of coffee and tea in there, so good to have!
the light in the room did not work and neither did the bathroom light! we raised the concern. we were told there had been a leak in our bedroom. also, the advert says breakfast included! it didn't state continental breakfast though.

The location near the Pleasure Beach was convenient. The decor had fresh seaside touches that I found appealing. The owners were friendly and helpful. Their warmth really stood out! Breakfast featured pastries, yogurt, cereals, toast, a real coffee machine, and fruit juice.
The bar was closed due to a flood, disappointing.
