Building's History

The luxurious design hotel, Three Storks, is set in a historical building dating back to the 14th century, when it housed a monastic brewery founded by the Augustinian Order of St. Thomas. The house, also called Altmann House or House at the Kings Magi, dates back to the 14th century. The current facade originates from a Classicist reconstruction between 1794 and 1820, with the house sign made of a stone plate and the gateway dating from that time. The hotel's design harmonizes the Renaissance interior with a modern appearance.

the location was advantageous. it was on the palace side of the river. getting to and from the airport did not require traveling through the center of town. the room was of a nice size (i stayed in room 22). other rooms looked to be similarly spacious.

the room i had was not perfect (i stayed in room 1). 6 am trash removal occurred directly outside the room. staff slammed doors early in the morning near staff rooms, and i could hear talking. the ac dripped nonstop while running.

The location was superb, i could easily walk to many attractions. the staff was very helpful, especially with directions. i appreciated the water pressure in the shower and the quietness of the room. It helped me relax after a long day.

The room I was assigned was a Superior Double Room. It featured very comfortable king-size bed. The included breakfast offered many options. I also found the hotel's proximity to key attractions quite convenient, with easy access to everything. The hotel even offered gluten-free pastries, upon request.

The television in the room was a bit older, but I hardly used it anyway.

Fantastic Stay in a Historic Setting

My "beautiful double room" was spacious. The bathroom included modern fixtures. The hotel's location offered convenient access to many historical sites. The breakfast provided a freshly squeezed orange juice, which i REALLY enjoyed!

I noticed some dust on the closet shelves. It seems they had not been cleaned for several days. I believe a more thorough cleaning routine would greatly improve the room's condition. This minor issue impacted my overall satisfaction.

The breakfast buffet included a wide selection of fresh fruit. Delicious pastries and cakes were available each morning. The self-service arrangement allowed for a relaxed and efficient start to the day. I found it AMAZING!!!
