pleasant riverside stay

great locationscenic locationgood fooddark roomtatty roomlaminated menu
the location is awesome for testing at donington park circuit, it is super close! the scenery is great too with the river trent right there and spaces outside for walks.
I stayed in room 46 and it was awful, so brown, dark and dismal. the room was tatty and generally down at heel. the evening meal was in a bar area, which wasn't what i expected for dinner. The laminated menu did not give me much confidence.

Comfortable stay with excellent amenities

lovely locationfriendly staffample parkingdated decor
i found the location lovely and close to family. breakfast was also very nice. i am a repeat guest. the staff are friendly and helpful. parking was ample, and it was close to the airport and racetrack.
i found the decor was somewhat dated, and some items were not in good working order. the air conditioning was broken, and the tap in the bathroom sink was difficult to use because of corrosion.
