Mixed experience. Some issues encountered
monotonous repetition
The breakfast buffet was, frankly, uninspired. The selection remained unchanged each day, I thought. This repetition became monotonous after a few mornings. Considerable wait times were common, ESPECIALLY during peak hours.

The staff was helpful. I was able to leave my luggage before check-in to explore the city. The room was cleaned daily, a detail I very much appreciated (it. The hotel's proximity to subways offered easy access to different parts of the city.
The immediate area around the hotel sometimes felt a little crowded.

decent stay with minor issues

the breakfast had enough variety that i didn't get bored . the walk to the rossio train station took about 20 minutes.. i didn't use public transport. the intendente metro station was very close, only a minute away.
i didn't like that there was no milk in the room for coffee. you could buy it downstairs, though. check-in was also a bit late at 3pm. i had to provide my bank card details on a piece of paper, the staff said the manager needed it for the safe.

I found a couple things disappointing . the lack of hot water one morning without warning was quite inconvenient. when i inquired, the staff admitted it was just maintenance and they should have informed us. also, the room felt a bit minimalistic. There was no milk for coffee, which i had to purchase separately.
