the staff was friendly and helpful. the room had tea and coffee making facilities, including a bottle of water and milk in the fridge (i really appreciated this).

the walls needed a fresh coat of paint. the toilet didn't flush properly, a bit inconvenient.

a stay with some issues

kitchen extractor uncleaned room

the room i got faced the kitchen extractor, and the smell of oil was intense. the room was not cleaned after the first night. the bed was not made. this situation detracted from the experience, and i hope for improvements in ventilation and housekeeping.

helpful staff breakfast cereal tea selection

the staff were very cute and helpful with directions. i appreciated the thoughtful touch of cereal with cool milk for breakfast in the room. the range of tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits available was a nice addition too.

the walls had slight scuffs, it was nothing major but something to note.

The location provided easy access to the train station. The room was clean and well decorated. I appreciated the separate entrance staying above the pub.

I noticed a slight need for refreshing the paint in some areas of the room.
