“What stands out here is the Victorian charm blended with practical considerations, such as the easy access to Haymarket Station and bus lines right outside the front door. I found the spacious rooms, especially the triples, a real plus for families or small groups and the breakfast receives generally good marks. For travelers who appreciate quiet surroundings without sacrificing city accessibility, this could be a solid choice.”

The bus stop was just outside the hotel. It was convenient for getting around. The room included plus points on both sides of the bed. The breakfast area was nice.
The view was a bit uninspiring.

spacious roomseparate tvsthin wallsadjacent rooms
the room was spacious. it included two separate tvs, a plus. i found coffee, tea, and lotus biscoff biscuits ready for me, that was really sweet.
The walls seemed thin, so i could hear noises from adjacent rooms. someone sounded like they were practicing a highland jig above me at 11pm but they stopped soon after.

The location was great. I could walk to haymarket railway station in just five minutes! this made it super easy to get to waverley and princes street. i loved the comfy bed and the big tv in the room. there was a proper kettle. i really appreciated that i could leave my bags early. Kasia was so friendly and helpful!
the soundproofing wasn't the best, i could hear some noise from the hallway at times.

Satisfactory stay overall

bus stopteacoffeehelpful staffwater pressureroom heatinglaminate floor
The bus stop located just outside the hotel allowed easy access to transportation. It was convenient. My room included coffee, tea, and Lotus Biscoff biscuits. I appreciated the thoughtful touch. I also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. They gave me a late checkout, which I needed.
The water pressure in the shower was not always hot. This was an issue. There was no way to adjust the heating in my room, not ideal. Laminate floors felt cold to the touch. I found the bed to be too big for the room. Moving around it was difficult.
