Reviews and Ratings

Feedback about Joivy Haymarket from previous guests about their experience.

Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Guests often highlight the excellent location of Joivy Haymarket, noting its close proximity - sometimes just steps away - to Haymarket station for easy access to trains and trams, with Princess Gardens also within a reasonable walking distance. Many appreciate the modern, keyless entry system managed via an app, as well as the well-equipped rooms that provide cooking facilities and utensils for self-catering, along with shared common areas that include a coffee machine and sometimes fresh fruits. A few guests have experienced issues with the digital access codes or the functionality of certain facilities in their rooms, but overall, the spacious rooms and convenient amenities, such as the availability of Tunnock's treats, contribute to a comfortable stay.

A Nice Stay

convenient location easy access complimentary coffee spacious reception

The location was indeed very convenient. It was merely a short walk to the tram station! I had easy access to many sights I wanted to explore. The common area included tea and coffee, and that was a very nice touch. The reception area had board games. This offered a nice way to unwind after a day of seeing the sights.

I could sometimes hear noises from the pipes.

Many nearby areas provide a wide variety of options to eat. I noticed a good café very close by. The café offered breakfast and coffee, and the quality was very good. I certainly appreciated the convenience.

Rooms

10/10

The room was indeed a great size! The bed was lovely and comfortable. The room had everything I needed for my short stay. It was also very clean. The bed made for restful sleep.

Facilities

9/10

The hotel is easy to access once you've mastered the lock system. The hotel eliminates the need for keys. I thought it was a good idea. I liked that they provided a communal area. This.
