ineffective air conditioning

The shower door emitted a loud cracking noise whenever moved, this concerned me. I reported it, maintenance came but said it was fine. I still worried the glass would break. The room was also cold, the air conditioning was loud and ineffective. A blocked window with blackout curtains prevented sunlight and offered no privacy.
