The reception staff were friendly and professional. This was a lovely beginning to our stay. we had a twin room, and the room was a comfortable size. we walked easily to the accessible tube station and brick lane. The location was excellent. we also liked that we could open the windows.
There was nobody to check out. curtains are too small for the windows. As soon as it is bright outside, you get all the light inside. you can hear all the noise from outside. It's a busy road, even at night. floorboards were broken. Cushions, curtains, and blanket had suspicious stains.

The room's air conditioning didn't work properly. It mostly blew air like a fan. contacting reception from the room was impossible since the phone wasn't connected. the staff didn't seem able to solve the ac problem.
