Dining at The Watersedge

The WatersEdge restaurant serves lunch, dinner, and light bites, along with drinks from the bar. A brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday morning until 12pm. Guests can book a table for up to 6 people in the Dock Marquee for £69 and enjoy a grazing platter to share. There is an undercover and heated al fresco dining area with a 5-meter long solid oak dining table that seats 16 people. The Dock Marquee features LIVE DJs. Guests can enjoy starters and desserts, with lunch available inside the restaurant or bar, or outside in the canal-side garden. The Watersedge has tables for 48 people in socially distanced tables of 6, or 60 standing, and sides can be opened to make use of the outside areas. This area is perfect for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and drinks in any weather. A new outdoor area extends the garden along the canal.

The room had lovely views over the canal. The welcome was warm and friendly (i liked this part!). Both lunch and breakfast were excellent and good value.

Someone found false eyelashes in my bed sheets. I don't wear false eyelashes myself. The shower did not work properly on the last day of my stay.

I really liked the room. It was like a little cottage, set in a nice spot right on the canal. the room had all i needed. the location next to the canal was pretty and calm. It helped me relax after a long travel day.

the coke from the bar was flat, and i was told it might be from cleaning the nozzle.

the tv had netflix channels available i liked that feature the parking was free too i could order food and have it in my room that's convenient. breakfast was great for a large group the staff catered very well to us it was appreciated. the room was a good size it felt cosy the beds were comfortable i had no problems with the bathroom and hot water.

the deck area outside my room was not tidy it included some empty plant pots on the chairs.
