blackout curtains separate sinks variety dishes
my Nikolai Beautiful room had fantastic blackout curtains the air conditioning worked very well and the bathroom included two separate sinks i found the breakfast buffet featured smoked salmon and a variety of cheeses the hotel also offered made-to-order omelets. the gym included three treadmills and two stationary bikes breakfast was GOOD with a variety of dishes the hotel offers cooked eggs from the menu such as omelets or benedict.
the minibar was a little loud i found it.

tasty coffee eggs order nice view
The location was fantastic! I could easily reach St Catherine's church and it helped with navigation. The breakfast was very good with tasty coffee, eggs to order, and a nice view. I really appreciated the Occitaine Vervein toiletries in the room.
The parking garage offered by the hotel was a little far away and felt inconvenient, especially when checking out.

Really good Stay downtown
convenient location short walk bus lines beautiful design
I found the hotel conveniently located near Speicherstadt. A unesco world heritage site is nearby. Shops, restaurants, and cafés are a short walk. Bus and subway lines are close. Hamburg hauptbahnhof is easily accessible. The hotel common areas and rooms feature a beautiful design.
The bar was closed when the tablet indicated it should be open, so the staff should keep it updated.

The hotel includes snug corners for reading and waiting. Books are provided. The lobby is nicely decorated. This created a cute atmosphere, UNLIKE a conventional hotel.

distant parking garage slow bar service
i did not find any assistance with luggage when i arrived, i had to carry my bags up because there is no elevator, what a nuisance. the parking garage was quite a distance and inconvenient, especially when checking out. and the bar? i waited quite a while for my so-called welcome drink, i practically had to beg someone to serve me. this place seems more like a three-star than a four-star to me and i will not return.

excellent hotel experience
clean decoration spacious room
the hotel decoration was tasteful and clean. the room was spacious with all essentials available. i liked ordering fresh eggs benedict and pancakes from the menu. the homemade green juice at breakfast was a highlight!
i found a strong, unpleasant odor in the reception area upon arrival. this was off putting when entering the hotel. i believe a quicker check in process would help improve the initial experience.

the hotel staff was friendly. they provided a welcome drink at the bar. they were also helpful with directions to nearby attractions, such as the elbe.

The hotel offered bluetooth speakers in the rooms. the restaurant had a nice view. a minibar was in my room, however, it did not work properly. That was inconvenient.

The hotel is near the city centre. This made exploring easy. it was also a short walk from the train station, very convenient! though the area was generally quiet.

the location was good i walked to many places. the room included a separate bathtub and shower. the breakfast buffet offered fresh pancakes and egg dishes made to order.
there was a bad smell in the reception area on arrival. i found the reception area small and not too cute. the room was too small for the many decorative elements.
