The room temperature was hard to regulate initially. It took some effort to sort it out. the air conditioning was noisy. i also found the absence of readily available glasses a bit strange. i had to use disposable plastic cups for wine, it felt out of sync with the hotel's overall vibe.

the hotel's location proved advantageous. central park, times square, and a subway station were all easily accessible. an excellent variety of independent restaurants along 9th avenue was just a block away. i found the atmosphere inside the hotel to be calm.

the breakfast setup presented some issues. a fifteen usd credit per guest was provided, but it was insufficient for a decent breakfast. the room i stayed in felt smaller than anticipated. furthermore, the doormen did not offer assistance with opening the door, even when i had a stroller.
