faulty phone system inoperative flush button
I was a little disappointed with my stay. The phone system was faulty, therefore I had to go to the reception several times (this was not relaxing). the toilet's half-flush button did not work, though the full flush was operational. I thought the hotel could be more proactive in resolving guest issues.

nice central stay
t2 tea nespresso coffee dyson hair dryer climate control
the hotel included t2 tea and nespresso coffee at no cost. a dyson hair dryer was available in the room. i found the internal climate control worked fine. a complimentary upgrade gave me a room on the ninth floor facing the qvb building.
the elevators was close to my room and a little noisy.

the hotel gym included three treadmills. it also had two stationary bikes. i noted complimentary water bottles were available near the treadmills, a good touch for those wanting to stay hydrated during their workout.

the bell staff was efficient and very helpful with luggage. i saw the front desk provided quick check-in. room service delivered meals within the time promised, a plus for hungry guests.

the hotel is near st james station. i also noted it is close to the qvb building. i found i could walk to many tourist spots from here in under thirty minutes.

gowings restaurant featured amazing food and cocktails. the staff there seemed friendly. i noticed a broad selection of wines available for pairing with dinner, an advantage for wine lovers.

a charming stay
double vanity nespresso coffee blackout curtains
i stayed in a qt king room. the double vanity in the bathroom was certainly useful. the in-room t2 tea and nespresso coffee were a nice touch (i especially liked the coffee!). the blackout curtains helped ensure a good night's sleep.

adequate experience
convenient location groovy decor minimal sound insulation banging noises
i found the location quite convenient (i like to walk). the groovy decor set it apart from the bog-standard city rooms in this price range.
the room was noisy with minimal sound insulation from the room behind. i got woken up early with banging noises and doors closing (it was not a great start to the day).
