fantastic stay!
central location helpful staff free parking breakfast selection
The location was excellent, very central. all the staff members i encountered were helpful. the hotel provided free car parking, a huge bonus. the breakfast selection was varied. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and pastries.
i noticed a slight musty odor in the hallway carpeting, but it wasn't overwhelming.

the reception staff provided quick, efficient assistance with check-in and directions. the front desk manager, jon, was especially helpful in arranging taxis. all requests were handled promptly and with a smile.

central location extensive breakfast efficient check-in
The location is convenient, near the city centre. It made exploring very easy. I found the breakfast provided quite extensive. Both check-in and check-out processes were handled efficiently and professionally. The room offered sufficient comfort.
There were some minor signs of wear and tear on the room furniture

Acceptable stay with some drawbacks
carvery buffet old mattresses
The bathroom was modern and well-fitted.
The breakfast reminded me of a carvery buffet. I did not dare try the bacon because it looked like it had been cooked on a radiator. The beds could do with new mattresses and a lick of paint because our room had a hand print on the wall and some smears.

renovated bathroom helpful staff good breakfast
The bathroom had a lovely, newly renovated design and included complimentary toiletries with a negroni and bergamot scent. The staff was helpful in accommodating my request for a twin room, as originally booked (i appreciate their dedication). The breakfast offered a good selection and tasty options.
the car park showed a lack of care following the recent snow, understandable but still a small inconvenience.

I found the staff to be helpful when there was an initial issue with the room assignment. They promptly addressed the problem. Alison provided a very warm welcome and acknowledgment. The team ensures a smooth and pleasant experience for the duration of the stay.

The location is amazing for the town. The room was big with a lovely big shower. The breakfast was great and the bed comfortable.
The hotel has become very dog friendly. I witnessed a dog doing its business in the car park. The hotel encourages non-residents to use the bar. This makes it a bit overcrowded for paying guests.

Excellent City Stay
fast check in comfortable stay convenient location
Lucy at reception provided fast check in. She explained the hotel facilities well. Our room had everything for a comfortable stay. I also found the on-site restaurant menus offered several suitable options for my little one. The location was really convenient to explore the city. The staff was friendly and helpful to me.
I did find that the hotel parking incurred an additional cost per night. This was an unexpected charge.

The room included two comfortable double beds with premium bedding. I found the blackout curtains effective for a good night's sleep. A spacious work desk allowed me to comfortably set up my laptop and other devices.

The reception staff gave prompt responses when i had inquiries. I also noticed that the daily housekeeping ensured the room was always super clean. Restaurant staff were attentive and offered custom menu options.
