Mixed Feelings About a Short Stay

The noise level was definitely a problem. I could hear everything happening in the corridor and nearby rooms, difficult to relax. there was a strange smell in the room. (I suspect it was from the cleaning products.) It lingered throughout my stay and became quite bothersome. The staff did not seem to address my concerns very effectively, so I eventually gave up mentioning it.

the air con worked really well (a necessity, not a luxury!).

The single room i got was tiny. there was a strong smell of detergent on the sheets and it was overpowering. there was no bottled water either. The machine was out of order and i had to walk seven minutes to find a supermarket late at night.

The location was great, near the municipal market. they kept my luggage after checkout. the staff were helpful. I appreciate that. the shower was good, so that was a plus.

the walls seemed very thin. i could easily hear noises from other rooms. it was disruptive, especially at night.
