“Ibis Budget Amsterdam Airport serves a purpose, particularly for those needing quick access to the airport via the convenient free shuttle, a great solution given the somewhat isolated location; the clean, basic rooms are suitable for short stays. While service could be more attentive-some guests have noted confusion upon arrival-compensations for issues, like a leaky sink, suggest a commitment to guest satisfaction. For budget-conscious travelers prioritizing airport proximity, it's a worthwhile consideration.”

Many guests found the beds comfortable and appreciated the practical layout with shelves and a corner desk. the shuttle service was punctual, a good value (it helped a lot!). it saved time and stress getting to the airport. the breakfast was available early, which suited my early flight schedule. the staff was friendly.

The climate control in the room wasn't very effective. More efficient cooling would be appreciated.

absent telephone small room

The lack of a telephone in the room made arranging a wake-up call impossible, quite inconvenient. I found it unacceptable that a complimentary cup of coffee or tea was unavailable, especially at the price charged. Only one bath towel was provided. I noticed a complete absence of washcloths or hand towels. The room felt cramped, with minimal furnishings and a surprisingly small size.

Convenient Airport Proximity!!!

free shuttle simple transportation easy travel

The hotel is very close to the airport. A free shuttle made travel easy. I found a McDonald's nearby. It was a short walk. Public transportation to Amsterdam's center was simple. Check-in provided a really cool room selection.

The staff's behavior regarding luggage storage was unacceptable. They made snide remarks about the amount of luggage. I didn't appreciate those comments.

Location

9/10

The location is convenient, near the airport. Shuttle service is included, with a timetable. Public transport to Amsterdam is also available near the building. This makes travel accessible.

Rooms

8/10

My room was clean, and also comfortable. It had all the necessities for a brief stay. I found it well kept, but a little small. It was suitable for my needs.

Dining

9/10

I got breakfast early. This allowed me to catch my flight. The breakfast was decent, served beginning at 4:00 a.m. I recommend it to anyone flying from Schiphol.

Acceptable for a Brief Stay

poor soundproofing high breakfast cost

The room seemed smaller than expected. It felt cramped. The soundproofing was definitely lacking. I could hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms. The breakfast cost was too high considering the limited options available. There was a distinct lack of variety and the quality didn't justify the price. The bathroom design was not ideal. The toilet seemed like it was in a closet.
