i noticed the music in the lobby during breakfast was not to my taste. it was a distraction and could use an update to complement the peaceful atmosphere better.

The room smelled bad. It had a damp odor coming from the carpet, a surprise for such a hotel. i wasted time trying to find a new room. also, there was noise from the street and rooftop bar. Not very relaxing.

The room was clean and the location was very convenient. The staff also promptly addressed all our requests.

I was disappointed with the weak water pressure in the shower. It took ages for the water to get hot. Service at the café varied greatly between night and morning, a stark contrast I found strange (someone needs a wake-up call!). The front desk was also unhelpful when my family requested connecting rooms.

The limousine service from the airport provided a smooth transfer. my room was impeccably clean. the staff in the signature lounge greeted me by name each day. It was a nice personal touch. the culinary offerings were also a highlight. Every meal was AMAZING!!!

constant hammeringpoor communication

I found some aspects of my stay less than stellar, i must say. the constant hammering noise was a real downer, a sound i'm sure others also found irritating. the hotel staff didn't seem to know where the noise came from, a fact that makes me think communication is not their strong suit. the staff also seemed more attentive to western guests than to asian guests. A fact that i found rather insulting.
