The InterContinental New York Barclay features 704 rooms and 32 suites, each equipped with an iPod docking station and cable TV with a DVD player. Rooms range from 275-sqft Classic Rooms to Suites with a separate living area. Bathrooms feature marble, heated floors, and custom toiletries. Corner rooms provide Park Avenue views. Suites offer pantry areas. Select suites, such as the Park Suite (located on the 15th Floor), are able to connect to additional rooms, creating multi-bedroom configurations. The Harold S. Vanderbilt Penthouse includes a private terrace overlooking the Chrysler Building.
Dining at The Barclay
The Parlour restaurant is available for breakfast and Tuesday through Saturday for evening service, featuring cuisine that complements the hotel's history. The Parlour uses herbs from The Barclay rooftop garden. In-room dining is available for breakfast from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM and all-day dining from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM. The Gin Parlour stocks over 80 types of gin.
Leisure and Well-being
A fitness center, located on the 3rd floor next to the Business Center, is accessible 24-hours and includes two Peloton Bikes and Technogym equipment. Club InterContinental members have access to the Club Intercontinental lounge. A Solato Gelato Machine is available at Club InterContinental. Guests receive a Kleinfeld Bridal gift certificate to put towards a dress.

Located in Midtown Manhattan in Rockefeller Center, the InterContinental New York Barclay is a 10-minute walk to Times Square and near NBC Studios and the Top of the Rock observation deck. The hotel is near the United Nations and consulates.

i had a standard bedroom, it was very spacious and comfortable! my wife was especially happy with the bathroom. the hotel's communication was excellent. i found every staff member i met to be professional and friendly, including those at concierge services and reception.
During checkout, my breakfast charge from that morning wasn't initially entered. I had to call to get it corrected.

the hotel has a great location in midtown east. i found it a short walk to fifth ave, st patrick's, and rockefeller center. it was also close to various stores and restaurants i wanted to visit.

the beds, bed linen, and bathroom linen felt soft and high-quality, but i noticed thin walls! i could sometimes hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which, while not constant, was noticeable.

Check-in was perfect and efficient. kit did well to welcome us. the text message service allowed us to get another robe quickly. It arrived promptly after i requested it, and the hotel staff were polite.

The restaurant offered a diverse menu. breakfast was available until 11:00. there was a perfect bar and restaurant available. the restaurant space was bright and well-kept . The bar provided good service.

i had a totally awesome stay! the room was super clean (really super clean!). the shampoo made my hair super soft, and i loved a night of room service and netflix in the robes. my daughter adored the pizza, and she's a bit of an expert i think.
i only put one guest on the reservation, so i wasn't surprised there was only one robe and i had to ask for another.

the hotel offered very central placement, so it made it easy to get to great restaurant options and both ends of the island (visiting morningside park to lower manhattan was reasonable using a taxi).
