expensive minibar early morning noises
The minibar contents carried unreasonable prices. Complimentary water should be standard, but it was not. The disturbance from early morning pipe noises was unacceptable. This occurred without fail each morning. Disrupting any chance for restful sleep. I also found the lack of coffee making facilities quite disappointing for the price point. Expecting basic amenities is not excessive.

mixed experience due to noise and amenities
noise problem small room
the staff were amazing to interact with. it was easy to see their expertise at handling multiple weddings.
the noise was unacceptable. i wasn't warned about a wedding event with a live band. my brooklyn king room was too small. the toilet blasted noise intermittently and obviously needed fixing.

The location was convenient.
The room was too small. The noise from a wedding event lasted all night long. It was unacceptable!!! The toilet made loud noises intermittently and needed fixing.

chic decor minibar selection warm floor
i found the design beautiful. industrial-chic decor was present throughout. the minibar selection was excellent. i especially liked the excellent toiletries provided. the floor was warm!
i noticed the street noise at night. it was quite disruptive. i really wanted a nespresso in the room.

the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. the doorman was also very nice. i especially appreciated their cute attitude, it really made a difference.

really good stay
spacious room bluetooth system easy access
the manhattan view king room was spacious and well-kept. i found the bluetooth sound system particularly useful (it really elevated the room's ambiance). i also appreciated the easy access to the ferry, it made getting around brooklyn and manhattan quite convenient.
i noticed the minibar items carried high prices and complimentary water bottles were absent, this felt unusual given the room's cost.

the brooklyn king room included expansive windows that provided great views. the room's industrial design also stood out, as did the slight view of the river, offering a unique and aesthetically pleasing environment.

the hotel features a rooftop bar, a place with excellent views. there are really good cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area, within easy walking distance, providing many options for dining and entertainment (i enjoyed exploring them a lot!).

breakfast proved delicious. the hotel's restaurant offered a good selection, and the overall quality and preparation impressed me. i also found the restaurant staff kind, contributing to a positive dining experience.
