The hotel had a well-equipped gym. It featured three treadmills. It also had two stationary bikes. The lobby bar created a fantastic evening. The bartenders were very attentive and helpful. The hotel accommodated a late arrival. The staff was very nice and helpful at 3 am..
The elevators were really slow. I ended up taking the stairs several times. The hotel sent text messages to a foreign mobile phone. I did not see them until I returned from my trip. The shower gel bottle was empty. No one checked to refill it. The room itself was tiny.

a tender brooklyn stay
city view floor windows celebratory gift downstairs cafe
i secured an upgrade to a city view queen balcony. the floor to ceiling windows did flood the room in light. a bottle of bubbly was a sweet touch, a celebratory gift. i did work from the cafe downstairs, it was so cozy and calm.
the lifts felt slow, making the stairs a quicker choice at times.

helpful staff central location nearby amenities high charge poor service
the staff was helpful and friendly. amenities were as described on the website with no issues. the hotel is close to several shops and restaurants. the POOL was a must. the location is amazing, and it's easy to get around. everything i needed was nearby.
the room service IS horrible. they charge over $400 per room. when you get to the hotel, they charge an urban fee of $40 for two cans of water. the cleaning crew is abysmal. the service should be better. i expect more for the price.
