An OKAY stay

delicious food helpful staff fantastic meat tired exterior small room shower issue

I had a REALLY good carvery. The meats were fantastic. The beef was the BEST I've tasted in years. The staff were helpful, and the food was plentiful.

The outside of the hotel looks a little tired. The room I stayed in was really small, and there was very little ventilation. The overhead shower worked but not the hand shower.

The room featured what we needed. Staff provided friendly help. Check in and check out were easy. Plenty of parking spots were available.

Hallway paint looked very flaky. It seemed some maintenance was required.

The room floor was creaky. I heard constant noise from slight movements. The bathroom door did not close properly. This was not ideal when sharing the room. Breakfast was disappointing, it offered a limited choice. There were no options for cereal, fruit, or pastries.

The room was spacious and clean. the bed provided comfort, i slept well. i appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room. It allowed for relaxation. free car parking was convenient.

I would have liked more milk cartons in the room. There was not enough for two people.

convenient location carvery meal free parking

the location worked well for my needs. the restaurant had a carvery, a bonus after a long journey. rooms included ironing facilities and an additional oil heater. the free parking also made things simpler, as i knew my car was safe at night.

The soundproofing was not as effective as more modern buildings. Some noise was audible.
