the location worked well for my needs. the restaurant had a carvery, a bonus after a long journey. rooms included ironing facilities and an additional oil heater. the free parking also made things simpler, as i knew my car was safe at night.

The soundproofing was not as effective as more modern buildings. Some noise was audible.
